Lucas Martinez Quarta scored for Fiorentina in their 2-1 loss vs. Napoli.
Martinez Quarta scored his first goal of the season to give Fiorentina the 1-0 lead. It was a corner kick for Fiorentina as the ball fell to the Argentine who scored.
In addition to Martinez Quarta, Nicolas Gonzalez also started for Fiorentina. Both players have been called up to the Argentina national team.
Roberto Pereyra scored for Udinese in their 3-3 draw vs. Sampdoria.
Pereyra scored his second goal of the season for Udinese, his first since their opening match of the season. A low pass into the penalty area found the 30 year old as the Argentine struck it with his side foot to give Udinese the 1-0 lead.
He has featured in all seven league matches for Udinese.
Giovanni Simeone scored for Verona in their 4-0 win vs. Spezia.
Simeone scored for the second match in a row for Verona to bring his goal tally to two goals in six matches. It was a corner kick by Verona which found Simeone as the Argentine would head the ball in to give them the 1-0 lead.
Still only 26 years old, Simeone is on loan at Verona from Cagliari.
Lautaro Martinez scored for Inter in their 2-1 win vs. Sassuolo.
Martinez made it five goals in six matches as he scored off a penalty. It was 1-1 when Inter were awarded a penalty kick. Lautaro took it as he went to the goalkeeper’s left and the goalkeeper went the wrong way and Lautaro scored.
Paulo Dybala is out of the Argentina squad for the October World Cup qualifiers.
Dybala, who is not fully fit, was called up to the Argentina squad by coach Lionel Scaloni. However, the Argentina accounted tweeted out that Dybala will miss the three matches and is out of the team.
