That goal means that Lionel Messi has now scored 50 or more goals in a calendar year for the 6th straight year, nine times in the last 10 years.

Argentina olympic team training, Adolfo Gaich in starting eleven

Argentina olympic coach Fernando Batista had his first training session with the team ahead of the tournament in January and it was Adolfo Gaich who was in attack.

Despite news and rumors that Adolfo Gaich would not be released by San Lorenzo for the tournament, Gaich ultimately joined the team and was part of the eleven players out in training. Nehuen Perez arrived to training late and was not part of the eleven while Lautaro Valenti and Matias Zaracho are uncertain to be released by their clubs.
