Argentina to play Brazil and Uruguay in November friendly games in Saudi Arabia, Tel Aviv

Argentina will be playing two friendly games in November against Brazil and Uruguay.

After having previously been announced that Lionel Scaloni’s team would play Brazil and Paraguay in November, the idea has since been changed and instead of Paraguay, it will be Uruguay as the second opponent.

Lionel Messi will be back from his suspension following the comments he made at the 2019 Copa America and Scaloni has already stated that both Messi and Sergio Aguero would be in the team for the games in November.

The first match against Brazil will take place on November 15 in Riyad, Saudi Arabia with the second on November 19 in Tel Aviv.

Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero are nominated for the 2019 Ballon d’Or award.

Only two Argentine players are nominated and it’s the two veterans. Messi already holds the record, having won it five times and will look to make it six while Aguero has yet to win it.

The award will be presented on Monday, 2 December in Paris, France.

Lisandro Magallan scores for Deportivo Alaves in win vs. Celta Vigo

Lisandro Magallan scored his first goal for new club Alaves in their 2-0 win vs. Celta Vigo.

After having been unable to secure a spot with Ajax, Magallan joined Deportivo Alaves on loan and scored his first goal. A towering header from the 26 year old Argentine center back gave Alaves the 1-0 lead.

Joaquin Correa and Alejandro Gomez score in Lazio, Atalanta draw

Joaquin Correa and Alejandro Gomez both scored for their clubs as Lazio drew 3-3 vs. Atalanta.

Alejandro Gomez scored the third for Atalanta as they took a 3-0 lead in the first half. A pass played in to Gomez as the Argentina ran through and with a left footed finish beat the goalkeeper.

Joaquin Correa would score Lazio’s second goal of the match. With Atalanta leading 3-1, Correa would receive the ball outside of the penalty area, he would drive in from the goalkeeper’s left and would unleash a thunderous right footed shot into the roof of the net.

Lautaro Martinez double for Inter in win vs. Sassuolo

Lautaro Martinez scored twice for Inter in their 4-3 win vs. Sassuolo.

It took Lautaro just two minutes to score. Lautaro received the ball inside the penalty area and a lovely right footed effort beat the goalkeeper for the first of the match.

With Inter leading 3-1, Lautaro would add one more, this time off a penalty. Martinez would go to the goalkeeper’s left side, sending him the wrong side.
