Barcelona are reportedly preparing a 70 million bid plus a player for Lautaro Martinez.

The Argentina man is still being looked at by last season’s league winners. Per a report by Mundo Deportivo, Inter have agreed to sign left back Junior Firpo, which Barcelona value at €41 million. Inter would still look to get an additional €70 million for Lautaro to go along with Firpo.

Lautaro, who will turn 23 years of age next month, has been on Barcelona’s radar for several months. The club is looking to find a replacement for Luis Suarez and Lautaro has been the main target.

Ocampos cannot stop scoring. While in this match he didn’t have to play as a goalkeeper and make a last minute save, the Argentine did convert a penalty to give Sevilla the 1-0 lead.

Alejandro Gomez assisted for Atalanta in their 2-2 draw vs. Juventus and also tops the league in assists.

Already 32 years of age, Alejandro “Papu” Gomez continues to impress. Still in the Champions League and likely to qualify for the competition next season, the Argentine continues to deliver for his club. Gomez had a lovely little assist to Zapata on the goal.

With still 6 games remaining, Gomez tops Serie A with 16 assists. Per Opta, no player in the league has had more assists in a single season than Gomez in the past 15 years.

Lionel Messi assisted once more for Barcelona, this time in their 1-0 win vs. Real Valladolid and he now holds another record.

The Argentina and Barcelona captain has now reached 20 assists this season, drawing him level with Xavi with the most assists in a single La Liga season after assisting Arthuro Vidal in the win. Xavi has held the record since the 2008-2009 season.

Messi is also on 22 goals this season and also draws level with Thierry Henry as the only players to have 20 or more goals and assists in a single season since the turn of the century.
