Argentina will wear the home shirt twice and the alternate purple kit once in the group stages.
Lionel Scaloni’s team will wear the home shirt with black shorts and black socks in their opening game vs. Saudi Arabia. Against Mexico, they will once more wear the home shirt with black shorts and black socks.
In their final group stage game against Poland, the team will wear their alternate purple kit. They will wear the purple shirt with purple shorts and purple socks.
Thiago Almada spoke about getting called up to the Argentina national team for the 2022 World Cup.
Almada has been called up to replace the injured Joaquin Correa. His girlfriend revealed that he was at the dentist when Lionel Scaloni called him to tell him. Speaking at an airport, here is what Almada had to say about his call up:
“It’s the happiest day of my life for myself and my family. It’s what we fight for, that we live day by day, so I’m very happy.
“Let me send a greeting to Tucu (Joaquín Correa), who is going through a hard time. I don’t wish it on anyone, get better soon.”
Alejandro Garnacho has been named as November’s Player of the Month for Manchester United.
Garnacho had two goals and two assists in four games for the club as he won the award. The Argentine scored important goals for United in the month and as he played more game and got more minutes in the month.
Ángel Correa commented on getting called up to the Argentina national team for the 2022 World Cup.
Correa has been called up for Argentina as Nicolás González is injured. The 27 year old was part of the preliminary list of players for Argentina but left out of the original final team.
Argentina national team coach made two changes to the 2022 World Cup team. Correa replaces Nicolás González and Thiago Almada replaces Joaquín Correa. Speaking at an airport in Argentina, here is what Correa had to say about being called up:
“The truth is that this call up took me by surprise because it caught me in Rosario enjoying myself with my family. That’s why I’m going to Qatar with a big dream.”

Marcos Acuña will be physically tested on Friday for the Argentina national team.
Acuña played for Argentina in the 5-0 win vs. United Arab Emirates and had an assist on an Angel Di Maria goal. He appears to not be physically fullt fit and according to Gastón Edul, the Argentina coaching staff saw him fit in the game but they will physically test him during training.
Nicolás González and Joaquín Correa will both not be going to the World Cup as Ángel Correa replaces Nicolás González and Thiago Almada replaces Joaquín Correa.
