Lionel Scaloni has shrunk his preliminary list of players for the 2022 World Cup from 46 to 31 players. According to Esteban Edul, Scaloni has cut down his list by 15 with November 14 being the expected date for the final list of players.

Icardi scored twice for Galatasaray to give them the win as he has now reached three goals in five matches. The 29 year scored the first goal of the game as the ball fell to Icardi in the penalty area and an effort with his left foot as he scored.

With the score at 1-1, Icardi would once more give Galatasaray the lead. The Argentine would score his second goal of the game as a cross into the penalty area found Icardi and he would score with a header to give Galatasaray the 2-1 lead.
