Argentina is set to play a friendly match against Egypt in Abu Dhabi in November with an agreement reached.

Lionel Scaloni’s team will be playing an African team prior to the World Cup. Per Esmail Mahmoud of El Balad in Egypt, Argentina have requested to play the match in November in Abu Dhabi.

Hazem Emam, who is part of the Egyptian Federation, has stated an an agreement has been reached but the contract has not been signed. According to Gastón Edul, it would be played 10 days before Argentina’s opening match at the World Cup.

Nahuel Molina has signed with Atletico Madrid for five seasons.

Atletico Madrid announced on Thursday the signing of the 24 year old defender. Brought in from Udinese, the right back finished with seven league goals last season.

The deal has been talked about for several weeks and Molina was with the team for their pre-season win vs. Numancia on Wednesday. The Argentine started his career with Boca Juniors before going on loan to both Defensa y Justicia and Rosario Central.

He joined Udinese in 2020 where he would go on to play 68 matches for them. With the Argentina national team, Molina won the Copa America and the Finalissima.

Javier Mascherano’s Argentina U20 team are in Spain training for the COTIF L’Alcúdia tournament.

Mascherano will be coaching the Argentina U20 team at a second tournament this year. For this tournament, Mascherano has selected three European based players. Here are the players which have been picked:

Argentina Amazon Prime Video series available online, information on worldwide releases

The Argentina Amazon Prime Video series is now available online.

With the initial release date having been for July 10, the Amazon Prime series which followed the Argentina national team was delayed for July 22, with the first two episodes set to drop that day.

Amazon did release the first two episodes that day but it is only available in some parts of South America. Hernán Castillo, who worked on the series, announced on Twitter that the series would be available in two weeks time in the United States, with it being release for the rest of the world in November.

A user on Youtube has made the first two episodes available. To enable English subtitles, you must click on Settings, Captions and Auto Translate to English.

Ángel Correa scored and assisted for Atletico Madrid in their 4-0 win vs. Numancia.

Correa has started off the pre-season in the best way possible. The 27 year old played an assist to Thomas Lemar on the first goal.

The Argentine made it 2-0 with a great goal off a corner kick. The ball was crossed into the penalty area and as he was running away from goal, his left footed shot beat the goalkeeper.

Rodrigo De Paul was also on the bench for the match while new signing Nahuel Molina was with the team.
