Nicolás Castro will sign with Eintracht from Newell’s Old Boys.
Castro is the latest Argentine player set to join a European club. Per César Luis Merlo, the 21 year old midfielder will reportedly sign with the Europa League champions on a five year contract.
He is set to sign until 2027 and he will be travelling to Germany soon for a medical. As we reported earlier last week, Eintracht are also looking to sign Lucas Alario.
Juventus made a new improved offer to Ángel Di María after the Argentine dismissed the first one. The bid would be a one-year contract plus an option for one more season. He is also wanted by FC Barcelona.
Juventus’ initial offer was a two-year contract. According to Sky Sport’s Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the club from Turin realized that Di María’s intention is to return to Argentine football in 2023. Therefore, they decided to reduce the duration of the contract offered to one year. The Argentine would be giving an answer to Juventus this weekend.
Also based on reports, Di María and his family would prefer to move to Spain rather than Italy. The Copa America champion is currently a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain in May of this year.

Tottenham Hotspur are willing to offer €90 million for Lautaro Martínez of Inter.
Lautaro Martínez is being linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur. According to Repubblica, Tottenham are willing to pay 90 million for the Argentine.
Martínez has been linked with several clubs since last season but has remained at Inter, becoming their main striker.
Arsenal have enquired about Lisandro Martínez of Argentina and Ajax.
Lisandro Martínez could be leaving Ajax with several clubs interested. FC Barcelona and Manchester United have been linked with the Argentine.
Martínez is now being linked with a move to Arsenal. According to The Athletic UK, the club have enquired about the 24 year old defender.
The Argentine joined Ajax back in 2019 from Defensa y Justicia and has become a starter for the club.
Carlos Tevez is set to become the new coach of Rosario Central.
Tevez will be taking over as coach for the first time after having recently announced his retirement from football. The 38 year old is being linked with Rosario Central in Argentina.
He played 76 times for the Argentina national team scoring 13 goals. Playing for the biggest clubs in the world, the Argentine is about to embark on a new chapter as he becomes a coach.
