Paulo Dybala has been named the Player of the Month for Juventus.

Dybala wins the award following a good month of October where he missed the first two matches due to injury. Dybala had one goal and one assist in three league matches.

He has been selected by Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni for the November World Cup qualifiers.

Mauricio Pochettino states Leandro Paredes might not travel with Argentina team

Mauricio Pochettino has stated that Leandro Paredes might not travel with the Argentina national team.

Pochettino spoke at a press conference where he stated that Paredes, who is injured and has been called-up to the Argentina national team, might not be joining the group. Here is what he had to say regarding Paredes:

“I don’t think Paredes will be able to travel with the Argentina national team.”

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni included Paredes while initial reports stated that Paredes would be back after the international matches.

Lionel Messi out for PSG, will make Argentina team for World Cup qualifiers

Lionel Messi has not been included in the PSG team for their match against Bordeaux but will play for Argentina in the World Cup qualifiers.

Messi will not take part in PSG’s match against Bordeaux as coach Mauricio Pochettino stated on Friday. Messi, who also missed PSG’s last match due to knee and ligament injuries, was in Madrid receiving treatment.

However, according to a report by TyC Sports, Lionel Messi will be available for Argentina in their World Cup qualifiers which begin next week. He could play a few minutes against Uruguay on November 12 and would play play the entire match on November 16 against Brazil in San Juan.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni has announced his squad for the November World Cup qualifiers.

Lionel Scaloni has selected over 30 players for the two matches against Brazil and Uruguay in November. While most of the squad which won the Copa America have been included, Scaloni has also named several young players from the Argentine league.

Paulo Dybala is back in the squad as he was injured for the October matches while Lionel Messi, who could miss a few matches for PSG, has also been included. Leandro Paredes, who could miss both matches, is also in the team.

Alejandro Papu Gomez does not make the squad due to injury along with Lucas Alario who is also injured. Scaloni has selected nine players from Argentina, one of which is 17 year old goalkeeper Federico Gomes Girth, who plays in the second division with Tigre. Here is the squad:

Lucas Ocampos scored for Sevilla in their 2-1 loss vs. Lille in the Champions League.

Ocampos scored and gave Sevilla the early 1-0 lead in their match on Tuesday. Sevilla would have an effort on goal which was stopped by the goalkeeper but Ocampos would score the rebound. This was his first goal in the Champions League since November 2014 when he was with Monaco and scored against Leverkusen.

Marcos Acuña would also start the match for Sevilla while Gonzalo Montiel and Erik Lamela were brought on as substitutes.
