Lucas Ocampos scored for Sevilla in their 2-0 win vs. Osasuna.

Ocampos scored his first goal of the season for Sevilla as he and three other Argentine players started the match. It was Marcos Acuña, Gonzalo Montiel, Erik Lamela and Lucas Ocampos all starting and 1-0 for Sevilla when they scored their second.

The Argentine would get on to a loose ball as he would beat the defender and goalkeeper. He would round the goalkeeper and score the open net to give Sevilla the 2-0 lead.

Angel Di Maria scored and assisted for PSG in their 2-1 win vs. Lille.

Di Maria got his second goal and third assist in the league this season as he ensured that PSG would not draw or lose. It was Lille leading 1-0 until Di Maria received the ball and chipped it into the penalty area to Marquinhos who scored.

With the score at 1-1, Neymar would receive the ball inside the Lille penalty area and would pass it to Di Maria as he would score and give PSG the win.

Emiliano Martinez is training alone in Argentina following a family emergency.

Martinez flew out to Argentina as his father underwent surgery. The Argentine posted a picture of himself along with his father on his Instagram.

He is training alone in Ezeiza where the Argentina national team train for their matches. He posted a picture on Instagram where he wrote the following:

“Thank you very much to the AFA and Chiqui Tapia for helping me in everything in these difficult days.”

His club Aston Villa play West Ham on Sunday and Martinez is a doubt.

Lautaro Martinez signs new Inter contract

Lautaro Martinez has signed a new contract with Inter.

Martinez has renewed his contract with Inter as he will stay with the club until the end of the 2025-2026 season. According to Fabrizio Romano, Lautaro has extended until June 2026 where his salary has been improved and his release clause removed.

The Argentine joined the club in 2018 where he helped them win the league last season.

Lionel Messi with muscle discomfort, could miss PSG match

Lionel Messi has a muscle discomfort and could miss PSG’s league match against Lille.

Messi has been rumored to have been suffered from minor knocks and injuries since the start of the season. He did not take part in PSG’s training on Thursday ahead of their league match against Lille on Friday.

Mauricio Pochettino, the PSG coach, held a press conference where he was asked about Lionel Messi. With both Messi and Kylian Mbappe missing from the PSG training, Pochettino was asked if Messi would play further up the pitch and not out on the right, where he has mostly played for them. Pochettino mentioned that Messi can play up front but he also mentioned that there are other players who can play up front instead with Mbappe possibly out.

Pochettino also spoke about Messi’s absence from training. Here is what he had to say:

“In terms of Leo Messi, he has been training very well since the match against Marseille. This morning, he had a small muscle problem, as a precaution, he trained individually. We will assess him and see if he can be involved.”
