FC Barcelona will play Boca Juniors in the Maradona Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Two of the biggest football teams in the world will play each other in a friendly match on December 14 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in a friendly match. It will be a tribute to Diego Maradona, as he played for both teams.

Maradona initially played for Boca Juniors in Argentina prior to joining FC Barcelona.

Paulo Dybala scored for Juventus in their 1-1 draw vs. Inter.

Dybala was back for Juventus as he started their match on the bench. He was substituted in and played 25 minutes and changed the game. With Inter leading 1-0, Juventus were awarded what some fans are saying was a controversial penalty and it was Dybala who would take it.

The Argentine went to the goalkeeper’s right and scored to earn Juventus the draw. According to OptaPaolo, Dybala is the first Juventus player to score in three consecutive matches in Serie A against Inter, since the three points per win era began back in the 1994-1995 season.

Still only 27 years old, Dybala could be back in the Argentina national team squad for the World Cup qualifiers in November.

Lucas Boye and Dario Benedetto scored for Elche in their 2-2 draw vs. Espanyol.

Boye and Benedetto scored both goals with Boye giving Elche the 1-0 lead. The Argentine would tackle and get the ball in the Espanyol penalty area. He would fire a shot from outside of the penalty area into the bottom corner for the first goal of the match. He has now scored for the second time in consecutive goals, with him having two goals in La Liga this season.

With Espanyol leading 2-1, it was Benedetto who would score the second goal. A cross into the penalty area took a bounce and fell to Benedetto. The 31 year old would score from close range to draw Elche level. That goal was his second of the season for Elche.

Giovanni Simeone scored four goals for Verona in their 4-1 win vs. Lazio.

Simeone managed four goals against his father’s old team Lazio as he made it six goals in eight matches this season, six goals in his last four matches. He would give Verona the 1-0 lead with a through ball in to Simeone who made a run inside the penalty area and scored.

The Argentine would make it 2-0 with a goal from outside of the penalty area with his shot going into the corner of the net. With Lazio scoring, it was 2-1 for Verona but a ball into the penalty area and a finish by Simeone as he would complete his hat trick. 

But at 3-1, Simeone was not done yet. A cross sent into the area found the 26 year old who would head it in to give Verona the 4-1 lead.

Nicolas Gonzalez scored for Fiorentina in their 3-0 win vs. Cagliari.

Gonzalez scored his second goal of the Serie A season for Fiorentina. It was 1-0 for Fiorentina when a ball was played into Gonzalez and he scored an open net from close range. The 23 year old has scored three goals and three assists in nine matches this season. Lucas Martinez Quarta also started the match for Fiorentina.

The Argentine is expected to be part of the Argentina national team squad for the World Cup qualifiers in November.
