Paulo Dybala scored for Juventus in their 4-3 win vs. Roma.

Dybala scored the first goal of the match for Juventus. It was 1-0 for Roma when Dybala received the ball outside of the penalty area as he shot it and scored to draw Juventus level.

The 28 year old is now on six league goals this season and three in the Champions League. Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni is expected to announce his squad for the January and February World Cup qualifying matches with Dybala likely to be included.

Lanzini continues his great form for West Ham, this time with a goal. It was a scrappy one as the Argentine got on the end of a loose ball inside the penalty area and scored to give them the 1-0 lead.

Still only 28 years old, Lanzini is rumored to be called-up to the Argentina national team for the January and February World Cup qualifiers.

Manuel Lanzini commented on the Argentina national team and coach Lionel Scaloni.

Lanzini has been in great form recently. The Argentine scored twice for West Ham United recently against Crystal Palace. As we reported, Lanzini is rumored to be back in the Argentina national team for the January and February World Cup qualifying matches. Speaking in an interview with TyC Sports, here’s what he had to say:

“Argentina have long needed a coach like the one they have now. You can see that good things are happening in the national team. The national team that has been formed fills me with pride.

“The injury took me out of something very nice in Russia but it was a year and a half full of injuries. I always want to represent the Argentina national team.”

Lionel Messi is a finalist for the 2021 FIFA Best Men’s Player of the Year award.

Messi is nominated once more for an individual award. The record breaking seven time Ballon d’Or winner is up for the FIFA Best Men’s Player of the Year trophy. It’s an award which Lionel Messi won back in 2019 and has been a finalist in five of the six editions.

The Argentine, who won the Ballon d’Or last month, is a finalist with Roberto Lewandowski and Mohamed Salah the other two. The 34 year old had a great 2021 which saw him win multiple trophies.

In 2021, Messi won the Copa America with Argentina. At that tournament, he won the MVP of the Copa America and finished as the tournament’s top scorer and player with the most assists. On an individual level, he would win the Ballon d’Or for a record seven times. At FC Barcelona, he would lift the Copa del Rey and be awarded the Pichichi for a record eight times.
