Reports out of Argentina are emerging that Adolfo Gaich will indeed play with Club Brugge in Belgium.

Adolfo Gaich will reportedly sign with the Belgium club on Thursday after he flies out to Argentina. Gaich of San Lorenzo is presently with the U23 Argentina team in Colombia and per a report by TyC Sports, the striker will fly out to Argentina to sign his contract.

San Lorenzo have reportedly accepted a bid of nearly $14 million and on Thursday he is expected to undergo his medical. He will join Brugge after the Olympic qualifiers.

Gaich, still only 20, has scored 7 goals in 20 games.

Argentina will play their opening World Cup qualifier match against Ecuador at Boca’s La Bombonera.

Per a report by TyC Sports, when the 2022 World Cup qualifiers kick off, Lionel Scaloni’s team will not play their first match at the mystical Monumental. Instead, the team will play at La Bombonera, site of their last home World Cup qualifying match which came in 2017 vs. Peru.

The last time the team played there was against Haiti prior to the last World Cup.

World Cup qualifying kicks off for Argentina on the 26th of March vs. Ecuador before traveling to La Paz to on March 31 to play Bolivia.

Adolfo Gaich could be on his way to Belgium as Club Bruges have reportedly made several offers for the striker.

Capped with the Argentina national team and presently with the U23 squad, Adolfo Gaich could be making the jump over to Europe. Per a report by Clarin, San Lorenzo have received an offer of €17 million. San Lorenzo are reportedly close to accepting it with minor details left to iron out.

Gaich, still only 20 years of age, has scored 7 goals in 20 matches for San Lorenzo.

It’s two goals in two matches for Mac Allister and a second assist of the tournament for Adolfo Gaich. Argentina once more took an early lead as Mac Allister received the ball, passed it to Gaich, made a run where Gaich would return the pass and Alexis would score to give Argentina the lead.

Goalscorer from the second game Nehuen Perez would make a goal line clearance in the second half. With goalkeeper Facundo Cambese beaten, John Sanchez of Ecuador would attempt a shot but Nehuen Perez would stop it with his head.
