A veteran and now 37 years old, Rodrigo Palacio scored the opening goal for Bologna. The strike, his fifth of the season in the league, came after the initial shot hit the post and landed to Palacio who’s effort gave Bologna the lead.
Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes was asked about River Plate’s Exequiel Palacios as transfer rumors intensify.
Speaking with Manuel Veth with Forbes, Simon Rolfes was asked about Exequiel Palacios and while he did not confirm that a transfer was happening, he did have this to say:
“Yeah, for sure, we are looking for good players at a young age. Probably that kid could fit.”
On a possible transfer:
“At the moment, it is not possible to say. But in general for sure we are looking for young players that we can develop. For sure, we are looking for young players at a good age. Where we try to forecast a little bit of their development. We need to have some fantasy on the potential further development of a player.”
Exequiel Palacios has been rumored to join Bayer Leverkusen in the January transfer market.
Diego Perotti scored for Roma in their 2-2 draw vs. Wolfsberg.
Perotti was back on the scoresheet for Roma, this time scoring off a penalty. It took Roma seven minutes to score as Perotti converted a shot into the bottom left of the goal.

Icardi scored the first goal of the match for PSG. It would be Mbappe passing it to Icardi inside the penalty area and the Argentine would score from close range.
Gonzalo Higuain scored for Juventus in their 2-0 win vs. Bayer Leverkusen.
Higuain would score in injury time for Juventus with Paulo Dybala providing the assist. He would receive the ball on the edge of the penalty area and a left footed shot would beat the goalkeeper.
