Marcos Rojo joins Estudiantes de la Plata on loan from Manchester United

Marcos Rojo has joined Estudiantes de la Plata on loan.

Manchester United will have one less Argentine on the team as Rojo has went back to his boyhood club Estudiantes. He has joined them on loan until the end of the season.

Rojo hasn’t played many matches for United this season, playing only nine this year.

Leandro Paredes scored for PSG in their 2-0 win vs. Pau in the French Cup.

Paredes got his first goal for PSG with Mauro Icardi assisting. The ball found Paredes in the area and he would control it and volley it to open the scoring.

Adolfo Gaich to play with Club Brugge in Belgium, to sign on Thursday

Reports out of Argentina are emerging that Adolfo Gaich will indeed play with Club Brugge in Belgium.

Adolfo Gaich will reportedly sign with the Belgium club on Thursday after he flies out to Argentina. Gaich of San Lorenzo is presently with the U23 Argentina team in Colombia and per a report by TyC Sports, the striker will fly out to Argentina to sign his contract.

San Lorenzo have reportedly accepted a bid of nearly $14 million and on Thursday he is expected to undergo his medical. He will join Brugge after the Olympic qualifiers.

Gaich, still only 20, has scored 7 goals in 20 games.

Argentina to play Ecuador in 2022 World Cup qualifier at La Bombonera

Argentina will play their opening World Cup qualifier match against Ecuador at Boca’s La Bombonera.

Per a report by TyC Sports, when the 2022 World Cup qualifiers kick off, Lionel Scaloni’s team will not play their first match at the mystical Monumental. Instead, the team will play at La Bombonera, site of their last home World Cup qualifying match which came in 2017 vs. Peru.

The last time the team played there was against Haiti prior to the last World Cup.

World Cup qualifying kicks off for Argentina on the 26th of March vs. Ecuador before traveling to La Paz to on March 31 to play Bolivia.
