Argentina’s kit for the 2019 Copa America has been leaked.

As we reported a few weeks ago, there was a picture floating around showing the new Argentina home shirt. A rendered picture of the full kit is now online.

The shorts look to be a navy blue with white socks.

Sergio AGUERO scores for Manchester City in win against Liverpool

Sergio AGUERO scored Manchester City’s opening goal in their 2-1 win against Liverpool.

Last season’s league winners were up against the league leaders in what was described as a must win for Pep GUARDIOLA’s men. Liverpool came very close to opening the scoring but the first goal of the match was that of Sergio AGUERO’s.

The Argentine received the ball in the penalty area, span around and rocketed a shot from a very tight angle to give City the lead.

AGUERO’s goal was his 250th career league goal.

Borussia Dortmund have submitted a second bid for Boca Juniors defender Leonardo BALERDI.

As we reported a few days ago, the German club had submitted an initial bid of €12 million for the defender. New reports coming out today are stating that Dortmund are back with a second bid, this time for €18 million.

Marcelo GALLARDO of River Plate named South American Coach of the Year

Marcelo GALLARDO was named as the South American Coach of the Year while two other Argentine’s finished in second and third place.

Winning the Copa Libertadores with River Plate ensured that the Argentine finished first in the voting done by El Pais in Uruguay. GALLARDO took home the majority of the votes, that is to say 278 out of 320, a big 87% of the votes.

In second place came Ricardo GARECA who managed Peru at the 2018 FIFA World Cup while Gerardo MARTINO, who won the MLS Cup with Atlanta United, finished in third spot.

Cristian ESPINOZA has joined MLS club San Jose Earthquakes on loan.

The former Argentina U20 man will be coached by Matias ALMEYDA at his new club. Signed with La Liga team Villarreal back in 2016, he has played at Alaves, Real Vallodid and Boca Juniors, all while on loan.

Still only 23 years old, ESPINOZA was part of the 2015 Argentina U20 team which won the South American Youth Championship.
