Matias ZARACHO of Racing Club out of Argentina team

The 20 year old midfielder will miss both of Argentina’s matches against Mexico.

The official Twitter page of the Argentina national team has confirmed that Matias ZARACHO will miss the two matches. However, ZARACHO isn’t the only one confirmed out.

As we reported earlier, Nicolas OTAMENDI of Manchester City and Eduardo SALVIO of Benfica will sit out the two matches.

Several players have started to arrive in Argentina to join the national team.

Tottenham Hotspur trio Erik LAMELA, Paulo GAZZANIGA and Juan FOYTH were among the first few players to land in Argentina ahead of the team’s first friendly match against Mexico on Friday.

With players beginning to arrive, coach Lionel SCALONI will have the full week to work with the team and prepare for the double header of matches. One of the players is Stuttgart midfielder Santiago ASCACIBAR who had this to say uppon his arrival:

“One always dreams about being called-up (to the Argentina national team) and seeing the list and being called-up is an immense joy.”

Former Everton and current Villarreal man Ramiro FUNES MORI said this:

“I always want to play.”

Nicolas OTAMENDI and Eduardo SALVIO are both out of the Argentina national team due to injuries.

The Manchester City defender missed the Manchester derby because of injury and now OTAMENDI will miss both of Argentina’s matches against Mexico this month. OTAMENDI is out because of an ankle injury and will remain in Manchester.

As for Eduardo SALVIO, the Benfica player also misses out because of an ankle injury. SALVIO reportedly suffered a sprain in his left ankle during the Champions League match against Ajax.

Per reports, Matias ZARACHO and Renzo SARAVIA are also doubts with both of them carrying knocks. But they are not out of the team as the medical staff will take a look at them and decide if they’ll remain in Lionel SCALONI’s team or not.

AGUERO scored Manchester City’s second goal of their 3-1 win against Manchester United. AGUERO had the ball in midfield, ran towards the United back line, played a one-two and fired a shot passed David DE GEA.

Lionel MESSI scored twice for FC Barcelona while Gio LO CELSO scored for Real Betis as they got a 4-3 win against the league champions.

In his first match back from injury, MESSI was at it agaun scoring for fun. MESSI’s first goal came from the penalty spot, a well executed strike into the top corner of the net. His second was a tap in from close range.

Gio LO CELSO also scored, his was a shot which goalkeeper TER STEGEN tried to catch but it went through the hands of the German.
