The draw for the 2019 Copa America will take place on Thursday with Argentina seeded in Pot A.

Lionel SCALONI’s team will be guaranteed to stay away from hosts Brazil and 15 time champions Uruguay, at least in the group stages. The two teams along with Argentina will be in Pot A, with Peru, Colombia and Chile in Pot B and Japan, Paraguay and Venezuela in the third pot. Ecuador, Bolivia and the hosts of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar will be in the last pot.

Javier ZANETTI will be at the ceremony, as well Zico, Ze ROBERTO, MARTA, Diego LUGANO, Francisco MATURANA and ROMERITO.

Emiliano SALA reportedly leaked audio message prior to boarding plane

The search for Emiliano SALA continues and reports are coming out that they have obtained a leaked audio message which SALA sent to friends.

Per a report by Ole, SALA sent messages to his Argentine friends while on the plane. In the message, SALA said the following to his friends:

“Hello, little brothers, how are you crazy people? Brother, I’m dead, I was here in Nantes doing things, things, things, things and things, and it never stops, it never stops, it never stops. I’m here on a plane that looks like it’s about to fall apart, and I’m going to Cardiff, crazy, tomorrow we already start, and in the afternoon we start training, boys, in my new team… Let’s see what happens, so, how are you brothers and sisters, all right? If in an hour and a half you have no news from me, I don’t know if they are going to send someone to look for me because they cannot find me, but you know … Dad, how scared am I!”

SALA’s plane disappeared off the radar as he was flying off to Walves.

Argentina win-less at Sudamericano following loss to Ecuador

Argentina remain without a win after losing 1-0 in their second match of the Sudamericano against Ecuador.

Fernando BATISTA’s boys are in trouble of not qualifying to the second round. Following a 1-1 draw against Paraguay, the kids lost 1-0 to Ecuador and find themselves in last place in the group. Here was the starting eleven:

Argentina U20 team look for first Sudamericano win against Ecuador

Argentina will look for their first victory at this year’s Sudamericano when they play Ecuador.

Fernando BATISTA’s team drew 1-1 in their opening match against Paraguay with PSV’s Maxi ROMERO scoring the lone goal for Argentina. A win, depending on other results, could take them to first place in the table. They’re currently in 4th position in Group B with Ecuador having already played two matches.

The team will wear the traditional sky blue and white shirt with white shorts.

Argentine Emiliano SALA of Cardiff City reportedly on board missing aircraft

Cardiff City’s latest club signing Emiliano SALA was reportedly on board an aircraft which disappeared.

The newly signed Argentine failed to report back to Cardiff last night and reports are coming out that he was on board an aircraft that disappeared on Monday night. The small plane was travelling from Nantes to Cardiff and has gone missing.
