Paulo DYBALA out for Argentina

Paulo DYBALA will not take part in Argentina’s World Cup Qualifying matches as he has left the squad due to injury.

DYBALA will be flying back to Italy and won’t even be traveling with the team to Santiago, Chile. He now joins Enzo PEREZ, Nicolas GAITAN and Javier PASTORE on the players who will be missing Argentina’s next two World Cup Qualifying matches.

Updated list of injuries for Argentina

Javier PASTORE and Nicolas GAITAN are both officially out for Argentina.

The injuries just keep adding up for Tata MARTINO. But there may just be some light at the end of the tunnel. Despite all the injuries, only three players are “officially out” for Argentina. Those three being Enzo PEREZ, Nicolas GAITAN and Javier PASTORE.

Nicolas OTAMENDI, Mateo MUSACCHIO and Paulo DYBALA are all still with the team and haven’t been ruled out for the matches. The most positive of the three appears to be OTAMENDI as there are rumors that he might even be ready to play against Chile.

Lautaro ACOSTA called up for Argentina

With the injury to Paulo DYBALA, Tata MARTINO has called up current Lanus (former Sevilla) forward Lautaro ACOSTA.

For those who remember, ACOSTA won gold for Argentina at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing and was also part of the 2007 U20 World Cup winning team.

Paulo Dybala Is Injured

Argentina’s preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifier took another blow as PauloD DYBALA looks set to miss through injury.

He was forced to leave the field after having suffered a muscle injury on his right leg. The injury came after he took a free kick in the Turin derby between Juventus and Torino.

Not the best start in 2016 for Tata MARTINO.

For now, we hope that its not something serious and wish DYBALA speedy recovery.

Roberto AYALA spoke about which defender he likes and about the National Team. Here’s what he had to say:

“I like FUNES MORI a lot. Initially, I had my doubts but he matured quickly.”

“It’s a pity we couldn’t win a title the past few years, it’s not like we’re missing quality players. I don’t know what we could have been missing, maybe some luck.”
