Lisandro Martínez is not expected to play for the Argentina national team in the June matches.

Martínez has been ruled out for the rest of the season for Manchester United due to an injury. And according to Gastón Edul, he will not play in Argentina’s two friendly matches in Asia.

The Argentina national team are likely to play Indonesia and Australia in June, as reports emerged about Argentina’s Asian tour.

Three Argentine World Cup winners are reportedly wanted by Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea.

Mauricio Pochettino is set to become the new coach of Chelsea in June and reports are already circulating as to which players he wants to bring to the club. According to various reports across Europe, Emiliano Martínez of Aston Villa, Lautaro Martínez of Inter and Alexis Mac Allister of Brighton are the three players wanted by Pochettino.

Emiliano Martínez has been linked with a move away from Aston Villa since winning the World Cup with the Argentina national team. Lautaro Martínez could be more difficult to sign but with his current team mate Lukaku possibly going back to Chelsea, a move for Lautaro could be happening.

Alexis Mac Allister is expected to leave Brighton at the end of the season with Liverpool also interested in signing him.

Argentina U20 win 2-1 vs. Japan, Matías Soulé and Valentín Barco score

The Argentina U20 national team won 2-1 vs. Japan on Monday with Matías Soulé of Juventus and Valentín Barco both scoring.

Argentina U20 national team coach Javier Mascherano had his team play a friendly match against Japan as the start of the U20 World Cup approaches. Javier Mascherano named his list of 21 players for the tournament and they were in action on Monday.

Javier Mascherano named the following eleven for the match against Japan:

Gomes Gerth; Giay, Di Lollo, V. Gomez, V. Barco; Miramon, Perrone, Carboni, Aguirre, Veliz, Soule

Matías Soulé of Juventus opened the scoring with a lob from outside of the penalty area which caught the goalkeeper off his line. Japan would draw level and make it 1-1, but there are no videos of the goal.

Valentín Barco would make it 2-1 and give Argentina the win with a very good effort.

Mascherano’s team play the opening match at the U20 World Cup on May 20 against Uzbekistan.

Joan Laporta is keen on bringing Lionel Messi back to Barcelona and has even spoken about his possible return.

Laporta has mentioned Lionel Messi several times since Barcelona won La Liga on Sunday. The latest came on Monday during an interview with TV3. When asked about Messi returning, here is what he had to say:

“I’ve spoken with Leo. It was very nice. We have recovered the relationship.

“Messi wants Barça, he feels this club is his home. Saudi Arabia? Barça is Barça. In Arabia, they are doing a good job, investing… but I insist, Barça is his home”.

The Argentine had previously scored two penalty kicks in a 2-1 win vs. Bayern Munich and he made it three penalty kicks out of three.
