Manchester City are monitoring both Exequiel Zeballos and Valentín Barco, two Argentines from Boca Juniors.

After signing Julian Alvarez from River Plate, Manchester City are keeping an eye out on the two youngsters. According to Ekrem Konur, 19 year old winger Zeballos and 17 year old left back Barco are on their radar.

Lionel Messi is expected to be called up to the Argentina national team for the March World Cup qualifiers.

Messi was not selected for the January and February World Cup qualifying matches for Argentina but is expected to be back for the last two. Messi was rested and remained with Paris Saint-Germain as he was recovering from COVID but he has since played for PSG and scored a goal in their last league match.

Argentina play Venezuela and Ecuador in the last two World Cup qualifying matches in March and Lionel Scaloni will be able to count on the best player in the World. According to Gastón Edul, Messi will be selected for those two games.

Lionel Messi scored for PSG in their 5-1 win vs. Lille.

Messi was on the scoresheet for PSG for the first time in the new year. With the score at 2-1, it was a run by Kylian Mbappe as he cut inside but the ball was tackled away by the defender into the path of Messi. The Argentine would dribble into the penalty area and chip the goalkeeper.

That goal was his second in the league for PSG and he has now scored in every calendar year since 2005, making it 18 years.

Nahuel Molina scores free kick, Ignacio Pussetto scores for Udinese in 2-0 win vs. Torino

Nahuel Molina scored a free kick in the 92nd minute for Udinese as Ignacio Pussetto scored the second goal in a 2-0 win vs. Torino.

Molina is not known for his free kicks but the right back took one and scored for Udinese. With the score at 0-0 and Torino with a red card, Udinese were awarded a free kick.

The Argentine was the one who took it and scored to give Udinese the 1-0 lead. The 23 year old is now on four goals in the league this season.

Ignacio Pussetto also scored late in injury time. Udinese were awarded a penalty kick and the Argentine placed the ball into the top corner of the goal.

José Luis Palomino scored for Atalanta and Juan Musso got red carded in their 2-1 loss vs. Cagliari.

Palomino scored his first goal of the season for Atalanta. Missing only one match due to a yellow card suspension and another match where he was an unused substitute, the Argentine has taken part in every Serie A match for Atalanta this season.

But before the goal, Juan Musso was red carded following a tackle outside of the penalty area. With the score at 1-0, Zapata had an effort on goal which was stopped by the goalkeeper but the rebound fell to Palomino and a flying header drew Atalanta level.
