Adolfo Gaich scored his first goal for CSKA Moscow in their 1-0 win vs. Arsenal Tula.
The former San Lorenzo striker managed to score in the pre-season win. Gaich pressured the Arsenal Tula goalkeeper and would head the ball onto the post before scoring an open net from close range.
Still only 21 years of age, he joined from San Lorenzo for €8.5 million with a 30 million release clause.
Geronimo Rulli has joined Spanish club Villarreal from Real Sociedad.
Rulli, who spent a full season on loan with Montpellier is back in Spain but with a new club. After joining Real Socidad initially on loan in 2014, he later signed for Manchester City where he played zero games and spent another season on loan at Sociedad. In 2017, the move was made permanent and while initially doing well, he would go on to lose his starting spot.
He spent last season at Montpellier and has joined Villarreal on a four year deal for a reported €5 million. Still only 28 years old, Rulli has already played for the Argentina national team and will look to once more be called-up to the team.
Pity Martinez has joined Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
As we reported a few days ago, Pity Martinez was close to joining Al-Nassr. Atlanta United have made it official today as the Argentine has joined the club in Saudi Arabia for an undisclosed fee. The 27 year old joined in 2019 which saw him lift two trophies with the club.

Cristian Pavon scored the first goal of the match in LA Galaxy’s 3-0 win vs. LAFC.
With the first half tied at 0-0, Pabon got onto the end of the ball and with the goalkeeper approaching, the Argentina man would lob the ball over the goalkeeper to give the LA Galaxy the 1-0 lead.
Pavon would also have the assist on the second goal with fellow Argentine Emiliano Insua getting his first assist for the team.
Still on loan from Boca Juniors, Pavon has a 20 million price tag and the 24 year old could see himself stay in Los Angeles with similar performances.
Valencia are reportedly interested in Argentina defender Germán Pezzella of Fiorentina.
Per a report by Marca, the Spanish club want to sign the 29 year old defender but Fiorentina would not want to sell for less than 15 million. Bought from Real Betis two years ago for 10 million, Valencia are looking to get Pezzella to replace fellow Argentine Ezequiel Garay who left the club this past season.
Germán Pezzella has a contract until June of 2022 and has been a figure in the Argentine back line in the past few years.
