Argentina coach Lionel SCALONI has a plethora of talent at his disposal but which players should start?

The duo of Mauro ICARDI and Paulo DYBALA recently scored their first goals for Argentina while the like sof Lautaro MARTINEZ and Gio SIMEONE already managed to find the back of the net. Judging by the matches since SCALONI took over, which players would you like to see start for Argentina?

Would you go with a lone striker? Would you play two up front or go with an attacking three? Does Sergio AGUERO deserve to be back in the team?

Diego SIMEONE of Atletico Madrid nominated for Best Coach of the Year

Diego SIMEONE has been nominated for the Best Coach of the Year award.

The Atletico Madrid manager managed to win the Europa League with his team after crashing out in the group stages of the Champions League. Atletico finished second in La Liga behind Lionel MESSI’s FC Barcelona.

SIMEONE faces competition from Massimiliano ALLEGRI of Juventus, Jurgen KLOPP of Liverpool, Didier DESCHAMPS of France and Zinedine Zidane who had managed Real Madrid.

Giovani LO CELSO scored for Real Betis in their 2-1 loss to Villarreal.

Fresh off of Argentina’s two victories, Gio LO CELSO started the match for Real Betis on the bench. He came on as a substitute and scored but it wasn’t enough as they lost 2-1 against Villarreal.

LO CELSO came on, received the ball on the edge of the penalty area and a left footed strike hit the top corner of the net.

Lautaro MARTINEZ, Rodrigo DE PAUL, Joaquin CORREA all score in Serie A

Lautaro MARTINEZ, Rodrigo DE PAUL and Joaquin CORREA all scored for their clubs.

Beginning with Inter, Lautaro MARTINEZ started ahead of Argentina team mate Mauro ICARDI and managed scored in Inter’s 3-0 win against Frosinone. A cross came into the area which found Lautaro as he headed it into the back of the net. The goal was Lautaro’s second of the season.

Rodrigo DE PAUL scored the only goal of the match, the winner for Udinese in their 1-0 victory against AS Roma. A lovely dribble through the Roma back line by DE PAUL who followed it all with a shot over the goalkeeper was enough to win it for Udinese.

Ignacio PUSSETTO also started the match for Udinese while Federico FAZIO started for Roma.

Joaquin CORREA came on for Lazio and scored in the 93rd minute to rescue a point for Lazio in their 1-1 draw against AC Milan. CORREA started the match on the bench and had an impact as his half volley from the egde of the penalty area went in and gave his club the point.

Boca Juniors refusing to play Copa Libertadores final against River Plate

Boca Juniors are refusing to play the final of the Copa Libertadores.

With the incidents that occurred on Saturday, Boca Juniors have asked CONMEBOL not to play the final. Club captain Pablo PEREZ would require surgery after receiving glass in his eye after the Boca bus was attacked and CONMEBOL are reportedly forcing Boca to play.

River Plate fans have started to enter the Monumental. No word yet on what will happen but we will be continuing to update on the situation.
