AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho commented on Paulo Dybala’s injury stating that he probably will not be back before the end of the year.

Paulo Dybala injured himself while scoring a penalty for AS Roma and could now be out for the year. AS Roma coach Jose Mourinho spoke to DAZN after his team’s game vs. Lecce. Here is what he had to say:

“Dybala? Difficult to see him again on a pitch before 2023.”

He continues to struggle with injuries and now before the World Cup. According to Gastón Edul, he has a muscle injury and tests will be done to evaluate him.

If Dybala is out for the rest of the year, that would mean he will miss the World Cup with Argentina.

Lionel Messi is out for PSG’s Ligue 1 game vs. Reims on Saturday.

Messi will not take part in PSG’s next league game due to injury. The club announced on Friday that Messi has discomfort in his calf, but that test results are reassuring.

The 35 year old was substituted off for PSG in their Champions League game vs. Benfica this week following a tackle. He felt discomfort and asked to be substituted.

He has also recently been making the headlines following an interview which was released on Thursday where he stated that the 2022 World Cup would be his last.

Lionel Messi suffers from a minor contracture in his calf.

Messi scored for PSG in their 1-1 draw vs. Benfica but was also substituted out of the game. PSG coach Christophe Galtier would later state that Messi was substituted because he was tired and not because he was injured.

He was seen with PSG coaching staff member after being substituted which had many people talking about if he would play in their next game. According to L’Equipe, he felt some discomfort following a tackle and asked to be substituted out.

PSG’s next league game is on Saturday vs. Reims and he is not ruled out of it.
