Julián Álvarez scored the first half goal for Argentina as they lead 1-0 vs. Jamaica.

Álvarez has his second goal for the Argentina national team after great work by Lautaro Martinez. With rumors of Lionel Messi possibly not starting, it was Julián Álvarez who started in place of Messi.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni fielded a different eleven to the one which started the 3-0 win vs. Honduras. Here is the eleven which has been selected by Scaloni:

Román Vega trained with the FC Barcelona main team on Tuesday.

Vega was part of Xavi’s Barcelona team which trained on Tuesday as he was called up from the youth team. The 18 year old is part of Javier Mascherano’s Argentina U20 team.

The Argentina was part of the team which won the youth tournament in Uruguay earlier this month. The left back joined the Barcelona youth team earlier in the summer from Argentinos Juniors.

Lionel Messi is a doubt for Argentina vs. Jamaica in New Jersey.

Messi might start on the bench on Tuesday. According to TyC Sports, Messi is a doubt for the game with Julián Álvarez possibly taking his place in the eleven.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni is set to make changes for the game. Emiliano Dibu Martínez, Ángel Di María and Cristian Cuti Romero are all set to start for Argentina after having been on the bench in the 3-0 win vs. Honduras.

Alexis Mac Allister, Guido Rodríguez and Nicolás Tagliafico would all also start for Argentina. Guido for Leandro Paredes, Mac Allister for Rodrigo De Paul and Tagliafico for Marcos Acuña.

Amazon Prime Video have released a trailer for the next two Argentina national team episodes.

Two new episodes of the Argentina national team series on Amazon Prime Video will be released on September 29. In the trailer, clips from the World Cup qualifiers and Argentina’s 5-0 win vs. Estonia are shown.

It is not yet known if the series will only be released in South America first.

Alexis Mac Allister and Guido Rodríguez are both expected to start for Argentina vs. Jamaica on Tuesday.

Argentina national team coach is set to make several changes from the team which start the 3-0 win vs. Honduras. With Dibu Martínez, Cuti Romero and Ángel Di María set to start, according to TyC Sports, Scaloni is set to make more changes.

Leandro Paredes will start the game on the bench as Guido Rodríguez will be in the eleven. Rodrigo De Paul will also start on the bench in place of Alexis Mac Allister for Argentina. This would be the eleven:

Dibu Martínez; Tagliafico, Otamendi or Lisandro Martínez, Cuti Romero, Molina; Guido Rodríguez, Mac Allister, Lo Celso; Messi, Lautaro and Di María.
