FC Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are all targeting Nahuel Molina of Udinese.

Several top clubs are looking to sign the Argentine. Per a report by Tuttosport, FC Barcelona are now one of the teams monitoring the 24 year old.

The Catalan club does not have a definitive starter with Mingueza, Dani Alves, Sergiño Dest and Sergi Roberto all having played at right back. Per the report, Juventus still lead the race in signing the Argentine.

Nahuel Molina has a contract with Udinese keeping him at the club until 2026 but Udinese club director Pierpaolo stated last week that it will be difficult to keep the player.

Molina joined Udinese in 2020 with Udinese asking €30 million for him.

Mauricio Pochettino, PSG reach agreement to part ways

Mauricio Pochettino and PSG have reached an agreement to part ways.

Pochettino will not be the PSG coach next season. According to David Ornstein, an agreement has been reached between both Pochettino and the club with mutual feelings and the decision taken last week.

There were rumors since PSG’s Champions League elimination that Pochettino would not remain at the club. He joined in 2021 and won three trophies at the club, the most recent one being Ligue 1 this season.

Manchester United are reportedly working on a new improved deal for the Argentine promising talent Alejandro Garnacho. His current contract is until 2025 and the club’s new offer would be a five-year deal.

The year 2022 has been a big one for Garnacho so far as he was called up to the Argentina national team, had a great season with Manchester United’s youth team, and had an outstanding Toulon tournament with Argentina’s U-20 team. These brilliant performances from the 17-year-old have gotten the interest of some big teams in Europe; this being the reason why Manchester United is trying to hold this rising star by offering him an upgraded contract.

Garnacho joined Manchester United from Atlético Madrid in 2020 for £420,000.

Rodrigo De Paul spoke about Lionel Messi at the day of the Copa America final and coach Lionel Scaloni.

De Paul has become the heartbeat of the Argentina national team. Seen by many as the midfield general, De Paul was on television in Argentina where he spoke on Tele Fe. Here is what he had to say in regards to Lionel Messi:

“The day of the final vs. Brazil, I look at Messi drinking mate as if nothing was going on and I couldn’t believe it. For him, that day was all or nothing and he was like he always is.

“The day of the final with Brazil, I looked at him said “there’s no middle ground for him. Either it’s God or hell.” He had a tremendous Copa America.

“With Leo (Messi), we had good vibes from the first moment. I admired him before and today too, more as a person.

“In the morning we (he and Lionel Messi) get together and drink mate with Papu. We are the ones who get up the earliest.”

Regarding Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni:

“If it’s 10:00 in the morning and Scaloni tells us “good night”, for us it’s night.”

In regards to the team before the Copa America:

“We turned off the television because we didn’t want to receive the bad vibe thrown by the media. There were people who didn’t want Argentina to be champion.”

Alejandro Garnacho, Nicolas Paz, Santiago Castro score for Argentina U20 vs. Japan

Alejandro Garnacho, Nicolas Paz and Santiago Castro all scored for the Argentina U20 team in a 3-2 win vs. Japan.

Garnacho reached four goals at the Toulon tournament for Argentina as he opened the scoring to make it 1-0 for Argentina. He ends the tournament with four goals and one assist in four matches.

It was Nicolas Paz of Real Madrid who would score the second goal. Garnacho would provide the assist.

Santiago Castro scored Argentina’s third goal of the match and the last one in the Toulon tournament. Javier Mascherano’s Argentina U20 team finishes in fifth place in the Toulon tournament.
