Joaquin CORREA, who was on the AFA’s unofficial list of 18 playerse for the Olympics, has joined Spanish side Sevilla from Italian club Sampdoria. CORREA has joined fellow Argentine Matias KRANEVITTER at the club with Luciano VIETTO also rumored to be heading there as well.

Estudiantes de la Plata, the club of the 19 year old midfielder, are rumored to have received an offer of 3 million Euro’s for ASCACIBAR.
Marcelo BIELSA leaves Lazio
Marcelo BIELSA has left as coach of Lazio.
Two days after joining Lazio, Marcelo BIELSA has left his position as head coach of the club. According to reports in the media, BIELSA had asked for players to be brought into the club but upon signing with them, he had discovered that Lazio had not even made contact with the other clubs regarding the players.

It has been confirmed that the start of the league season in Argentina will be delayed.
The start of the league season in Argentina will be delayed in order for clubs to release players for the Olympics. There had been talks about how clubs would not release a few more players for the Olympics but that might have to change.
The league was supposed to start on August 5 but will now start on the 12th of August.
