Giovanni Simeone scored an injury time winner for Cagliari in their 1-0 win vs. SPAL.
Simeone has scored his second goal in just as many matches since the return of Serie A. While his goal against Verona still resulted in the team losing, this one had a completely different outcome. A left footed effort from outside of the penalty area was stopped by the goalkeeper but the ball fell to Joao Pedro and his cross onto Simeone who headed in the late winner.
Giovani Lo Celso put on a Man of the Match performance for Tottenham in their 2-0 win vs. West Ham.
Lo Celso is finally injury free and not only started for Jose Mourinho’s side but was the stand out performer. Having only returned to group training last week due to a groin injury, Lo Celso was praised by Mourinho himself after the win.
“I rely a lot on the players’ feelings. For example Lo Celso today I was thinking not to give him 90 minutes and then in the end when I was communicating with him the feedback was always I’m fine”.

Paulo Dybala scored for Juventus in their 2-0 win vs. Bologna.
Dybala has scored his first goal since the restart of Serie A, a wonderdul left footed strike from the edge of the penalty area gave Juventus the 2-0 lead. The Argentina man was hit with the virus for several weeks and has since fully recovered.
Nicolas Gonzalez scored twice for Stuttgart in their 6-0 win vs. Nuremberg with the team practically sealing promotion to the Bundesliga next season.
Gonzalez scored Stuttgart’s fourth goal of the match, a flying header which beat the goalkeeper. The Argentine wasn’t done there as he would add one more. Now at 5-0, Gonzalez would score with a lovely left footed shot from inside the penalty area.
He has continued to impress since the start of the break. The Argentina man has scored 8 goals in his last 8 matches and is the highest scorer this season at the club with 14 and three assists. Still only 22 years old, Gonnzalez will be one to watch not only in the Bundesliga next season but potentially for the Argentina national team.
This result all but confirms that Stuttgart will be playing in the first division next season. They currently sit second in the table and are 3 points ahead of Heidenheim who are in third place. However, Stuttgart have a goal difference which is superior to that of Heidenheim’s by 11, which means it would take something dramatic to see them failing to qualify.
Lautaro Martinez scored for Inter in their 2-1 win vs. Sampdoria.
Martinez has scored for the first time since the restart of lock down. He played a part in the first goal and found himself scoring the second of the game. Inter found themselves inside the penalty area and the ball was passed onto Lautaro as he scored from close range.
Rumors are still circulating that Lautaro could be joining Barcelona. However, nothing concrete has surfaced.
