Sebastian DRIUSSI scored twice and Emiliano RIGONI once as Zenit won 5-0 against Anji.

The two Argentine players score all of their goals with seven minutes left in the match. RIGONI made it 3-0 while DRIUSSI scored the last two of the game.

Emiliano RIGONI’s goal was a free kick, his second goal of the season.

Lautaro MARTINEZ recently spoke about with Sportia about the Argentina national team.

The Inter hitman commented on the Argentina national team, Lionel MESSI and being left out of the World Cup team by Jorge SAMPAOLI. Here’s what he had to say:

“I try to give my best for Inter so that when the Argentina coach gives out his list, my name is there. I’m proud to wear this shirt and to be called-up. I work every day for that.

“You have to prepare, be attentive, to give the best possible and after that it’s the coach’s decision. I have always respected that and will continue to respect it.”

Lautaro MARTINEZ also spoke about playing alongside Lionel MESSI:

“I try to enjoy MESSI and to learn. We have him next to us and he will make all of us grow.”

About being left out of the World Cup team:

“With SAMPAOLI, there were things that I didn’t like. I was happy to be in the list of 35 and it was painful to be left out of the World Cup but I still supported as a fan.”

Argentina national team coach Lionel SCALONI met with the director of football teams Cesar Luis MENOTTI as the two discussed a local league team.

There have been rumors circulating about it the past few weeks but it could soon be true. Per a tweet by the official Argentina account, coach SCALONI met with the director of football teams Cesar Luis MENOTTI and a local league team could be in the works.

Per the tweet, the two spoke about putting together a team consisting of local league players which would play a friendly match in the next few weeks, should the calendar allow it.

Pablo AIMAR’s Argentina U17 qualify for FIFA World Cup

Pablo AIMAR’s Argentina U17 team qualified to the FIFA World Cup with a 3-0 win against Paraguay.

With one game left to spare, AIMAR’s U17 team were able to brush aside Paraguay and qualify for the World Cup to be held in November in Brazil. The three goals came from Juan Pablo KRILANOVICH, Cristian MEDINA and Alan VELASCO.

Argentina have one game left against Ecuador where a victory would mean they would clinch the Sudamericano title.

Also on Pablo AIMAR’s coaching staff is former Argentina man Diego PLACENTE.
